1. About these terms
These terms describe use of Lugatu, a service for creating and sharing forms and surveys, receiving responses in a workspace Inbox, connecting website forms, and managing team or agency workspaces. By creating an account or using an account-only feature, you agree to these terms. If you use Lugatu for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept terms for it.
Lugatu is the name of the service described in these terms. For support, contact support@lugatu.com. The service operator’s legal identity and postal address should be added once confirmed.
2. The service
Lugatu provides account and workspace management, website and hosted forms, surveys, an Inbox for submissions, exports, team and agency tools, developer interfaces, and optional notifications. Available features can depend on deployment, workspace settings and safeguards. Google Sign-In is available as an optional authentication method when configured.
We may add, change, pause or retire features to maintain security, comply with law or improve the service. We will take reasonable steps to give notice when a material change affects your use, subject to urgent security, legal or operational needs.
3. Accounts and access
You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and promptly tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and for choosing who receives access to your workspaces.
Lugatu may require email verification and may apply access controls or temporary limits to protect accounts and the service. Do not share credentials or use another person’s account without authorization. You must have legal capacity to accept these terms under the law that applies to you.
4. Plans, limits and payments
Features, usage limits and availability are described in the product interface or a separate order presented before use or purchase. No particular quota, price, paid plan, refund, service-level commitment or unlimited resource allowance is created by these terms unless it is expressly shown in an applicable order or plan description.
Operational limits may apply to file size, storage, request rate, notification delivery, security processing and other resources. Security throttles and abuse controls may temporarily restrict activity. Email delivery depends on recipient verification, available allowance, provider acceptance and recipient systems; Lugatu does not guarantee inbox placement.
5. Your forms and content
You retain the rights you have in the content you provide, including form definitions, branding, questions and customer data. You give Lugatu permission to host, process, display, transmit, back up as configured and export that content only as needed to provide and protect the service and follow your settings.
You are responsible for your forms, their claims and destinations, the information they collect, respondent notices and permissions, and your authorized users. You must not request information you are not entitled to collect or use Lugatu to mislead respondents.
6. Respondent data and customer duties
If you collect submissions or survey answers, you decide the purpose and fields and must provide respondents with clear information about your collection, use, sharing and retention. You must identify a contact for respondent requests and comply with privacy, consumer and marketing laws that apply to you.
Lugatu provides tools to receive, view and export submitted information. We do not make your collection lawful merely by hosting the form. Our responsibilities for customer data are also subject to applicable data-processing terms, if any.
7. Prohibited uses
You may not use Lugatu to:
- send spam, phishing, deceptive messages or unauthorized bulk communications;
- impersonate a person, company, public body or Lugatu, or misrepresent verification or affiliation;
- collect passwords, authentication codes, payment-card security codes or other credentials through deceptive forms;
- upload malware, harmful code, unlawful content or files that you do not have the right to share;
- collect, disclose or use information unlawfully or without required notices and permissions;
- bypass security controls, abuse APIs, automate harmful activity, interfere with service availability or access another workspace without permission;
- use the service in a way that violates applicable law or infringes another person’s rights.
8. Security controls and suspension
We may apply rate limits, security checks, file scanning, quarantine, notification controls or temporary suspension when reasonably needed to protect users, recipients, infrastructure or the public. We may restrict or remove content that violates these terms or creates a material security or abuse risk.
Where practical, we will provide notice and a way to contact us about an incorrect restriction. Urgent action may be taken first to prevent harm. We do not promise a particular review time or that every restriction can be reversed.
9. Exports, closure and retention
Workspace tools provide exports for supported form and survey records. You should export information you need before closing a workspace or ending use of the service. The application currently has no self-service account-deletion endpoint. Contact support@lugatu.com to ask about account closure or deletion; we may need to verify authority and may retain records where law, security or service operations require it.
Deletion timing can vary by data type, storage provider and backup cycle. The privacy policy describes the current known file and analytics cleanup behavior and outstanding operator confirmations. Do not rely on account closure alone as an immediate purge of every copy.
10. Third-party services and integrations
You may connect websites, APIs and other tools to Lugatu. You are responsible for the services you choose to connect and for protecting credentials in your own code. API secrets must stay on trusted servers and must not be placed in public browser code.
Lugatu may rely on infrastructure, storage, scanning, identity, challenge or notification providers when configured. Third-party services may have separate terms and privacy practices; their identities and processing locations depend on the live service configuration.
11. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Lugatu useful and available, but maintenance, security events, provider outages, network issues and other circumstances can interrupt access. Unless an applicable written order says otherwise, these terms do not create an uptime SLA or guaranteed recovery time.
You are responsible for keeping copies of content that you need and maintaining any website or integration you operate.
12. Intellectual property and branding
Lugatu and its software, visual identity and service materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable permission to use the service while you comply with these terms.
You may identify Lugatu as the provider of an integration or hosted form where accurate. You may not claim that Lugatu endorses you, use its logo in a misleading way, or remove required service attribution where the product does not allow it.
13. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent allowed by applicable law, Lugatu is provided without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every purpose. Nothing in these terms limits a right or remedy that cannot legally be limited.

14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. The current version and update date will appear on this page. For material changes, we will use a reasonable notice method. Continued use after a revised version takes effect is subject to applicable law and any required notice or consent.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms do not select a governing law or dispute venue. Any mandatory rights and rules that apply where you live remain in effect. The service operator should add the applicable governing law and dispute process once confirmed.
